Tourist destination Benidorm received 200,000 visits in 2014 on the travel related website TripAdvisor according to statistics from the American travel website.
This figure represented 69% of the International Market with 85% of that figure British.
Gema Amor who is the Benidorm Tourism Councillor and Leire Bilbao from the Visit Benidorm Tourist Foundation met with the TripAdviser Management in the International Tourist Fair FITUR in Madrid last week.
Two of Benidorm’s hotels have also been awarded the prestigious Travellers Choice Awards 2014 in 2 of the 8 categories. The HotelRocamar and the Riviera Beach are now in the Top25BestHotelsin Spain, placed in 9th and 15th places respectively.
These prestigious awards are given to hotels based on clients’ reviews on service, quality and value and help other travellers to plan their future holidays.
