The Searchers live in concert at the Benidorm Palace on Sunday 21st of April 2013.

The English band formed in Liverpool in the 1960’s by John McNally and Mike Pender named the band after the Classic 1956 John Wayne western  “The Searchers”.

Some of their best known hits include the remake of the Drifters' 1961 hit, “Sweets for my Sweet”, the remake of Jackie DeShannon’s “Needles and Pins” and “When you walk in the room" and original song written for them by Jackie DeShannon.

Other famous hits followed including  :

“Sugar and Spice",

“Don’t throw your love away” by the Orlons,

“Love Potion No 9” by the Clovers.

They were the second group from Liverpool, after the Beatles, to have a hit in America with  "Needles and Pins" which charted during the first week of March 1964.

Now you can see them live for one night only at the Benidorm Palace accompanied by “One Vision” , a tribute to the hit West End Musical  "We will Rock You", and the music of Queen.  

A great opportunity to enjoy music from the 60’s, 70s and 80’s.  Tickets cost 25€.  Doors open from 19:30.
