A casting for the popular TV programme Benidorm took place yesterday in the Hotel Melia in Benidorm.

The audition, announced exclusively on Social Networking Sites drew hundreds to the Hotel.  Hopefuls completed a questionnaire, had photographs taken and were added to a data base. These extras may then be recalled for further auditions for roles depending on the scripts. The production team will contract approximately 1.700 extras for the 8^th season which will be recorded shortly with scriptwriter by Darren Litten at the helm.
