The Poppy Appeal is a very important fund raiser for the Royal British Legion, which helps to maintain alive the memory those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and given their lives in serving our Country during  WW1 and subsequent wars.

The instantly recognisable bright red poppy symbolizes remembrance.  This year you can contribute to the Poppy Appeal in Benidorm on Wednesday 16th of October.  There will be a Parade of Standards as well as Pipe and Drum bands from 12:00 hours commencing from the Avenida Castello along the Levante Beach to the Burger King in the Rincon de Loix. 

Augustin Navaro Alvado, the Mayor of Benidorm will be in attendance, along with the British Consul in Alicante Sr  Paul Podwell and the Chairman of the Royal British Legion in Spain , Sr Chris Wyatt.
