A New Magical Journey Arrives: TRIVIUM.  Benidorm Palace Reinvents the Stage Experience.

Benidorm’s entertainment scene is preparing for the arrival of an ambitious new production that promises to blur the boundaries between theatre, movement and visual storytelling.

This season, Benidorm Palace audiences will be invited into a world where magic does not depend on tricks or illusions but on the power of language, thought, and emotion.

The new Benidorm Palace Show TRIVIUM, follows the story of a young magician who has mysteriously lost his magic.  He does not know when it happened. He does not know why. He only knows that without it, the world no longer looks the same.

His search for meaning begins when a mysterious master appears — not offering him a wand or a spell, but something far more unusual: a journey.    The Power of Three Ancient Forces 

At the heart of  the new show, TRIVIUM lies a philosophical idea drawn from classical education: the three intellectual disciplines that form the basis of knowledge — grammar, logic and rhetoric.

These invisible forces guide the protagonist through a transformative journey of discovery.   On stage, the concepts are translated into an immersive artistic language where words become movement, ideas turn into acrobatics and emotions explode into music, images and dance.  Rather than presenting traditional stage magic, the production invites spectators into a sensory universe designed to stimulate both imagination and feeling.

The production aims to immerse the audience in a visual and emotional landscape where the real magic happens within each spectator. Rhythm, adventure and mystery shape a narrative about identity — the story of someone trying to remember who they once were in order to become that person again.

To prepare this new production, the theatre will remain closed from Sunday 24 May until Thursday 28 May inclusive, allowing the creative team to transform the space and finalise the technical elements of the show.
