A prestigious soft drink company has just filmed an on location in Benidorm. The advert to be shown worldwide was shot in various locations in the city by a team of 70 publicity professionals brought in from Madrid and Argentina.
A Beach Soccer pitch was set up on the Poniente Beach near the Parque de Elche. The ad shows a game between actors and professional footballers which appears to be taking place in Mexico or Brazil.
Other emblematic areas of the city also appear in the ad, such as the Cross on the Sierra Gelada Mountain, and the Rincon de Loix.
With this latest campaign Benidorm has appeared in no less than 40 different publicity campaigns, music video clips, documentaries and competitions, not forgetting the famous ITV series Benidorm which completed its 7th season just a few months ago.
